Culture of Reader’s November Update

Problem: For the 2022-2023 school year my Culture Of Readers team is trying to solve the problem of kids not reading over the summer.

Target Group: Our target=whole school. Our target is the whole school because we want to build habits for everyone and especially younger kids.

Data Collection: To prove this problem exists, we needed to collect data. To do this, we created a survey (google form), we chose to have kids answer 3 questions focused on if they read and what could motivate them to read. We infer that most kids who take the survey will most likely answer they didn’t read over the summer and would like to be rewarded and recognized for their reading. We will use the data to help us create a summer reading program for our school.
